About Representative Josh Schriver

District

Rep. Josh Schriver was first elected to the Michigan House of Representatives in November 2022. He represents Michigan’s 66th House District, which contains Romeo, Bruce Twp, Washington Twp (Macomb County) and Leonard, Lakeville, Ortonville, Villiage of Oxford, Oxford Twp, Oakland Twp, Addison Twp, Brandon Twp (Oakland County).

Committees

Josh serves as a member on the House Natural Resources, Environment, Tourism, and Outdoor Recreation committee.

Education

Raised in Warren, Josh graduated from De La Salle Collegiate High School in Warren, MI. He then graduated from Michigan State University with his bachelor’s degree in 2015. He later earned his Master of Science in psychology in 2017.

Professional

After his undergraduate studies, Josh became an educator, teaching kindergarten in Detroit. Since 2016, he has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as an autism clinician. He is currently a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), developing 1-on-1 programs to help children with autism and their families home, school, clinical and community settings.

Personal

Josh and his wife, Gabby, live in Oxford. They share a passion for service and are very active in their community. Gabby coaches varsity boys and girls soccer at Oxford High School and owns/operates First Pick Sports, an organization that helps children with special needs improve their social and motor skills through weekly soccer camps. In their free time, Josh and Gabby enjoy traveling, playing sports, learning new things, cooking and baking, making family-friendly videos, watching movies, and spending time with family.
